"A promising new director"
John Turturro

"The pace is slow, but measuredly so.... And the actors are alive in their characters, delivering their lines in a manner that is both genuine and slightly, winkingly parodical ... Marino is clearly taking opportunities to add many subtle references, and a dash of mild parody... She’s an admitted fan of Joel and Ethan Coen’s work. And I could swear I detected a hint of Monty Python’s parodies of Italian cinema. But it would be wrong to consider this a work of parody. Marino has a story to tell here. And her cast and crew have helped her deliver a film that is enjoyable on many levels."
